Generate a Cyber Incident Vector to classify and describe IT events according to the taxonomy of the National Cybersecurity Agency, defined by the NIS2 directive (EU 2022/2555, D.Lgs. 138/2024), which imposes more rigorous management of security incidents.

The ACN Cyber Taxonomy (TC-ACN) is an official guide published by the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), the central Italian authority for NIS2. It aims to provide interested parties with tools to characterize a cyber event through 219 attributes, to specify its nature and provide a granular description during information exchanges. It defines a common and standardized language for classifying and describing IT security events.
This tool guides you in characterizing a computer incident according to the Taxonomy of the National Cybersecurity Agency (TC-ACN). The tool is based on the ACN guidelines of 31/07/2024 and subsequent updates. Select the parameters related to your incident in the 4 macro categories (Baseline Characterization, Threat Type, Threat Actor, Additional Context) and automatically generate the cyber incident vector in the standardized format.
The generator organizes characterization into 4 macro categories:
  • Baseline Characterization (BC) - Mandatory basic incident parameters
  • Threat Type (TT) - Type of threat identified
  • Threat Actor (TA) - Threat actor characteristics
  • Additional Context (AC) - Additional context and specific details
